Lab work 2
----------

The aim of this lab work is triple: first, to implement the rasterization of vectorial images; second, to practice the concepts of surface and volume rendering (DVR and IVR) using Slicer_; and third, to practice surface volume rendering programing with vtk_ and interface development with PyQt5_ by creating a viewer application that integrates image, surface and volume rendering. The lab will be developed in the same git project as Lab 1. You will have to download and add to that project some new files.

Below you will find explanations of these 3 parts and a summary (:ref:`assignment`) of what you are expected to deliver for Lab 2.
